Sofa cleaning prices in Makati: how to compare the full visit

Two quotes can both say “three-seater sofa cleaning” and describe different work. Before deciding which is better value, get the included surfaces, treatment, travel and aftercare in writing. Price becomes useful once the job is the same.

What should a sofa-cleaning quote include?

A useful quote names the furniture, the surfaces covered, the proposed method, any separately assessed treatment, the total payable for the visit and the follow-up terms. It should also explain important limitations, including the possibility that some marks remain and that drying depends on the item and room.

CLB Makati's published standard three-seater price is ₱3,900. The minimum order is ₱3,000, and travel is included in Century City, Rockwell and Salcedo Village. Other locations are quoted before booking. Use the current price page to check all sizes and conditions rather than assuming this standard item covers every sofa.

When comparing another quote, check whether it covers the same furniture, treatment and travel. The checklist below helps you ask both companies the same questions.

Start with the same furniture photographs

Send each provider the same wide photo, close-ups of concerns and care-label image. Include the length or seating layout when size is unclear. An oversized three-seater and a compact sofa can create different assumptions if all you send is the word “sofa.”

For a sectional, show the entire arrangement and identify the chaise, ottoman and loose pieces. Our L-shaped sofa page explains what helps establish that scope. Do not assume a chair in the corner of a photo has been included in a quote for the main sofa.

Tell every provider about earlier spot products and the outcome. A stain treated repeatedly at home is not the same assessment as an untouched spill. Withholding that history can make the cheapest initial quote the least useful one.

Ask which surfaces the price covers

Does the quotation include the arms, back, sides and accessible cushion faces, or only the seating area? Are loose back cushions included? Do decorative cushions count as additional items? The answer may vary, so ask before comparing totals.

Access also matters. Tell the cleaner if the sofa is fixed in position or too heavy to move safely. A narrow gap behind it does not become accessible because a broad phrase such as “complete clean” appears on an advertisement.

Write the agreed scope in ordinary language. For example: “Main sofa, arms and accessible back, three seat cushions and three back cushions; decorative pillows excluded.” Adapt the list to the furniture and surfaces agreed in your own quote.

Compare the treatment, not the longest list of machine names

A menu may list vacuum, shampoo, steam and extraction. Ask how these steps apply to your particular fabric and what each is intended to achieve. A longer list is not automatically a better treatment if the manufacturer's guidance rules out one of those methods.

Our method comparison explains the terminology. The care restrictions published by La-Z-Boy are one example of why a general promise to steam any sofa is not enough. Use the instructions for your own furniture.

Ask whether ordinary spot assessment is included and which additional treatments need a separate decision. If you are concerned about a pet accident, mention it at the beginning. A general upholstery price should not be read as a guarantee to solve contamination at every depth.

Confirm the total payable for the visit

Check the minimum order, travel arrangements and any confirmed additional items. A per-piece figure below a provider's minimum is not necessarily the amount you will pay for a standalone visit. Ask for the total once the location and scope are known.

At CLB, the included travel areas are named rather than described as “nearby.” Send your building and area, including access requirements, so anything outside that scope can be discussed before booking. Do not assume an unrelated branch's price or service area applies to Makati.

A special offer also needs a defined bundle. Find out which sizes, quantities and treatments it covers and what changes when you substitute an item. A package name such as “whole unit” is not enough to decide whether your requested pieces fit it.

A comparison checklist you can send to any cleaner

Copy these questions into your enquiry
Item to confirmQuestion
FurnitureDoes this quote cover every piece in these photos?
SurfacesWhich faces, cushions and additional items are included?
SuitabilityDoes your proposed method follow this furniture's instructions?
Stains and odourWhat can you assess, and what result cannot be promised?
TotalWhat is the final visit price including any minimum and travel?
DryingWhat assistance is included, and what must I arrange afterwards?
AftercareHow do I report a workmanship issue, and what happens next?

Keep the replies with the appointment details. If scope changes when the cleaner sees the furniture, discuss the change before additional work begins. A clear written conversation is useful to both sides.

What paying more should make clear

A premium price needs a clear explanation of the work and responsibility. At CLB Makati, the owner personally carries out the service described on the site. The process includes assessment, preparation, suitable extraction and air-mover assistance. Our process guide explains what those stages are for.

We also state the follow-up terms: report a concern about workmanship within 48 hours of completion of cleaning for free correction of workmanship issues. This does not promise removal of every stain or a fixed drying deadline. Read the terms alongside the quote.

Compare these details with the other quote. Ask both companies to explain any difference in scope before you decide whether the extra cost is worthwhile.

Questions about price and value

Is the cheapest quote always a false economy?

No. It may fit a straightforward job, or it may describe less work. Establish the scope before judging. The useful comparison is the total for the treatment you need, with the limitations and follow-up terms understood.

Does a higher price guarantee every stain will disappear?

No. The condition and material set limits that pricing cannot remove. Ask about your particular marks before booking. A responsible quotation explains those limits instead of using the price as proof of a guaranteed result.

What should I send for a CLB quote?

Send full-item photos, the care label, stain close-ups, your area and the pieces you want included. Use the quote form to describe the job, then confirm the scope and total before agreeing a visit.

Tell us what you need cleaned

Send a full photo, the care label and your Makati area. Describe the problem you want addressed so we can discuss suitability and a quote.
