Personal responsibility for your cleaning

CLB operates in the Philippines, Hungary, Canada and the USA. In Makati, the owner personally carries out the cleaning. You can discuss the furniture, the expected result and the agreed work directly with the person doing the job.

Our service standard is to respect your booked appointment, explain the process and check the result with you. Contact us within 48 hours of completion of the cleaning if there is a problem with the quality of our work. We correct it at no extra charge. This does not mean that every stain can be removed or that damaged fabric can be restored. See the service terms and confirm any questions before booking.

What to send for an L-shaped sofa quote

A photograph of one cushion does not show the whole job. Include the chaise, corner section, arms and any separate ottoman. If your sofa is modular, show the arrangement you want cleaned and explain which sections belong to it.

1. One full view: stand far enough back to show both sides of the L and the furniture around it.
2. The layout and size: give the approximate length of each side if you know it. A quick sketch can clarify a shape that is difficult to photograph.
3. The care label: send a readable photograph of the manufacturer's cleaning instructions, if available.
4. Problem areas: show stains and describe odour separately. Tell us about products already applied.
5. The location: name your building or area and mention restricted access around the sofa.

You do not need to move a heavy sofa to take a photograph. Tell us if the label or rear panel is inaccessible so this can be discussed before the visit.

Corner sofa, chaise or modular sectional?

Show both sides and the corner. Let us know if one side is against a wall or built into cabinetry.

Sofa with a chaise

Include the long lounging section in the photograph and measurements. Its surface is part of the cleaning assessment.

Modular sectional

Show all modules, including separate seats or ottomans you want included. Do not assume the number in the product name describes the full arrangement.

The current upholstery price list provides the published L-shaped sofa range. The layout and total length help us confirm where your piece fits. Any treatment for a specific stain or odour should be discussed with the cleaning quote.

Can every L-shaped sofa be wet-cleaned?

No. Shape does not determine fabric suitability. CLB's extraction service is for suitable fabric upholstery, with a care-label check and fabric test before cleaning. Leather, suede, silk and viscose need specialist assessment outside this standard service.

If the label says dry clean only, send it before arranging a visit. Do not assume that a removable cover is machine washable, or that a fabric which looks like another sofa needs the same treatment. The manufacturer's instructions matter more than the furniture's appearance.

What happens during the cleaning?

The service is carried out in your unit. The normal process includes inspection, dry vacuuming, pre-treatment, hot-water extraction and forced-air drying. Access to the seating panels, arms and cushions needs to be discussed for large or fixed arrangements.

Before the visit, clear loose belongings from the sofa and the route to it. Mention electrical recliners, fixed furniture or awkward access when requesting a quote; do not dismantle the sofa for us. Our condo preparation checklist covers the details to confirm with your building.

How long before the sectional can be used?

Cleaning time and drying time are different. The amount of upholstery, cushion construction and room conditions affect the practical schedule. Tell us when the sofa must be available again and ask for an estimate for your actual piece before booking.

Do not use a general sofa estimate as a guarantee for a large sectional. Follow the drying instructions given at the visit before putting covers or throws back on.

Can you treat pet urine on a corner sofa?
