Assess the mattress before choosing a treatment
The cover, filling and care instructions determine whether wet cleaning is appropriate. Share the mattress type, size and problem areas before booking, especially for foam or layered constructions.
Vacuuming removes accessible loose debris before suitable wet-cleaning stages. The contents of a vacuum canister do not measure allergen removal or prove that a mattress is hygienically safe.
Dust mites and morning allergies
Cleaning is not a diagnosis or treatment for allergy symptoms. We do not promise a measured reduction in dust mites or allergens. If symptoms persist, discuss them with a qualified healthcare professional.
Yellow patches that will not wash out
Discolouration has different possible causes. We assess visible marks and discuss what may improve; cleaning cannot guarantee a return to the original colour.
Urine, from a child or a pet
Describe when the accident happened, whether it was repeated and which products were used. Enzyme treatment may be an add-on, but neither stain nor odour removal can be guaranteed.
The smell that comes back
Odour can involve the filling or another source nearby. If it remains after cleaning, contact us for a review rather than adding more product. A photograph cannot establish its source.
After illness, or after a tenant
If the mattress is needed for incoming guests, allow time for assessment and drying. Tell us the deadline before choosing an appointment.
Mould spots along the seam
Visible mould or water damage requires assessment beyond routine stain cleaning. Do not assume extraction will make the mattress suitable for use. Porous materials may require replacement; see the EPA’s guidance on mould and porous materials.

UV vacuum, canister shown
A high-suction vacuum with a UV lamp over the whole surface and along every seam. You look in the canister before we go any further.

Spot and stain treatment
Sweat lines, urine areas and any biological marks are treated individually and left to dwell. We choose a treatment for each assessed mark and explain which stains may remain.

Hot-water extraction
Solution in under pressure, and a Kärcher Puzzi extractor takes it back out with what it dissolved. Both faces are included where the mattress can be safely turned and its care instructions permit treatment. We control moisture for the particular construction.

Assisted drying and use advice
Drying time depends on the material, filling, moisture retained and room conditions. Air-mover drying is included. Tell us when you need the item again so we can discuss a realistic plan; wait until it is dry before use.

When a different service is needed
Bed bugs require pest control. Our mattress cleaning service does not treat an infestation. Arrange a qualified pest-control assessment before considering cleaning.
Cleaning is not sterilisation. A visibly cleaner surface does not establish removal of all allergens or microorganisms. We do not promise medical benefits.
Some items are unsuitable for this service. Share signs of water damage, mould, damaged filling or repeated soaking before booking. Cleaning cannot repair the mattress structure.

Questions about mattress cleaning
Does mattress cleaning get rid of dust mites?
We do not guarantee elimination of dust mites or a measured reduction in allergens. Cleaning can remove accessible soil; it is not a substitute for medical advice or a complete allergy-management plan.
Can you remove old urine stains and the smell?
Results depend on the material, contamination depth and previous treatment. Enzyme treatment may be quoted separately. Repeated soaking or contamination deep in the filling may limit the result.
Do you treat bed bugs?
No. Bed bugs require a qualified pest-control assessment. Our upholstery and mattress cleaning service is not an infestation treatment.
What are the yellow stains on my mattress?
A yellow mark can have different causes, including accumulated soiling or discolouration. We cannot diagnose it from colour alone. Send photos and the history; some marks may remain after cleaning.
How long does a mattress take to dry?

What does the 48-hour quality guarantee cover?
Contact CLB within 48 hours after completion of the cleaning if there is a problem with the quality of the work. We correct workmanship issues at no extra charge. This is not a guarantee that every stain can be removed or damaged fabric restored.

What to send for a mattress assessment
Send the full item, care label, dimensions and close-ups of any marks. Describe odour, previous treatments and whether all surfaces are accessible. Mention your building and when the item must be usable again.
