How to Prepare Your Makati Condo for Upholstery Cleaning
Before an upholstery cleaning visit, confirm the items, building access and time needed for drying. Send clear photographs and care labels, remove loose belongings from the work area and ask your building administration about its current entry requirements. This checklist is for sofa, mattress and rug cleaning, not a whole-home housekeeping service.
Travel is included in Century City, Rockwell and Salcedo Village. Other locations are quoted before booking. See the current prices and packages; minimum order ₱3,000.
Personal responsibility for your cleaning
CLB operates in the Philippines, Hungary, Canada and the USA. In Makati, the owner personally carries out the cleaning. You can discuss the furniture, the expected result and the agreed work directly with the person doing the job.
Our service standard is to respect your booked appointment, explain the process and check the result with you. Contact us within 48 hours of completion of the cleaning if there is a problem with the quality of our work. We correct it at no extra charge. This does not mean that every stain can be removed or that damaged fabric can be restored. See the service terms and confirm any questions before booking.
Before you choose a slot
Start with the items, not just the number of rooms. A sofa and a mattress need different preparation from a rug, and a large corner sofa needs more information than a close-up of its fabric. Tell CLB which pieces you want included and which are your priority.
- Photograph each full piece, then any particular stain or damaged area.
- Include care labels when accessible; explain if the material is unknown.
- Describe odour, previous treatments and anything that cannot be seen in a picture.
- Give your building or area and any deadline for using the furniture again.
Use the relevant service information: sofas and armchairs, mattresses or carpets and rugs. Review the price list and booking conditions before confirming the scope.
What should I ask my building administration?
Requirements differ between buildings and can change. Ask your own administration rather than relying on another building's process. CLB's Century City and Makati coverage page identifies areas served; it is not a substitute for permission to enter a particular property.
- Does a cleaning crew need advance registration or a work permit?
- Are there permitted service hours or restrictions on weekends?
- Is a service lift reservation or a particular entrance required?
- What information must be supplied before arrival, and by whom?
- Are there access or parking arrangements that the operator needs to know?
Pass the instructions to CLB before the visit. Do not publish your unit number or entry details in a public review or photo caption; share necessary booking information privately.
Prepare the work area
Remove loose belongings, throws and personal items from the furniture being cleaned. Clear the route through the room so equipment can reach the piece. Tell us about narrow access, fixed furniture or heavy objects that cannot safely be moved.
Do not dismantle a sectional, move a heavy bed or remove electrical fittings just to prepare for the booking. Ask which access is needed for your particular item. If the sofa has reclining mechanisms or powered sections, mention this during the enquiry.
For a mattress, remove bedding and explain whether both sides can be reached. For a rug, identify furniture resting on it and any part of the rug you cannot expose safely. Ask about the water and power access needed rather than assuming a particular socket or tap will be suitable.
Check the details for your item
- L-shaped sofa
- Show the chaise and every module. Follow the sectional quote checklist so the arrangement is clear.
- Mattress
- Provide the size, affected faces and the time it needs to be usable again. Confirm drying arrangements before choosing a slot.
- Rug or fitted carpet
- Provide approximate dimensions, material information and a full view of the pile. Mention furniture that limits access.
- Pet urine or persistent odour
- Describe its history and previous treatments. See what to disclose for a treatment assessment.
Plan for drying, not only the cleaning appointment
Finishing the cleaning process and being ready to use an item are different milestones. Ask about your actual furniture and room conditions. Do not assume that a sofa estimate applies to a mattress, thick rug or larger sectional.
Agree where the item will dry and how the space can remain clear. Follow the operator's instructions before replacing bedding, covers or furniture on a cleaned surface. Mention an evening guest arrival or another time constraint before booking, rather than after cleaning starts.
Before the visit is confirmed
- The items and any proposed add-on treatment are clearly described.
- The total quote, minimum-order conditions and any transport charge are understood.
- Building access and timing are agreed.
- Material suitability and realistic result expectations have been discussed.
- You know what to clear and what should remain in place.
If anything changes, use the contact page to update the request. A useful enquiry describes the item and the constraints; it does not need to diagnose a stain or choose a chemical treatment.
